AMK-AC STATOR FOR SCOOTERS

Statorji

Orders for various stators have dropped by 10 to 40% due to the coronavirus outbreak in 2020. Therefore, we began looking for new projects and started producing stators for the Indian company Ather.

Ather is a high-end electric scooter manufacturer, and we will be making stators for the electric motor that will power the scooter.

Reduced environmental impact

Safeguarding jobs

Our objectives are to alleviate the lack of orders with the new product, thereby reducing the impact of revenue shortfalls, to enable all current employees to work and to increase the number of employees by the end of the year or next year at the latest.

We are going to reduce our environmental impact by purchasing new energy-saving machines. The project is going to be implemented in Predmeja, a small village above Ajdovščina. The village is located in an area where there are no other jobs nearby and residents have to commute to Ajdovščina, 13 kilometres away, or even further.

As this is a new type of stator, new machines and tools are needed to manufacture it. However, it would currently be very difficult for us to raise the funds to buy new equipment on our own.

That is why we are attempting to obtain funds from the European Union, through the European Regional Development Fund. The investment is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.

This will allow us to purchase the necessary machinery and other equipment. This is a very big project for us and it is in the electric mobility sector, which is growing very fast worldwide. The product is currently aimed at the Indian market, but we will start marketing it in Europe as well.
